What have I been doing? School.
I mean art what have you been doing? Mainly YouTube videos, actually have a bigger following there than I do here.
DeviantArt art? Mostly writing, but I wouldn't post that here. Not anymore.
Really? Yes. Bete Noire is at 80 pages. I've joined a writers group irl (Not Indy Racing League). Consistent good feedback is hard to come by around here.
So... not even terrible pencil sketches to show us? Oh, I have a few.
Anything not Bete Noire/Acadia related? Sadly, no.

No to AI Generated Images
Wanted to share this excellent article from Artstation by Daniel McGarry, a UK based concept artist. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/03Pbz4 I think Daniel summarised the situation better than I could. That said, I do think it is worth noting the particular threat AI generated images, as it currently stands, poses to non-professional spaces like DeviantArt. While Artstation has emerged as the go to place for industry professionals, DeviantArt had been able to exist as a space for the hobbyist and non-professional, with communities forming to urge each other on for the sake of the craft itself. If AI art continues to dominate the site, I believe that will greatly diminish the number of people who will be willing to pursue art for the craft, and it will devalue any and all images posted to the site in general. While this might be good in the immediate term for the site, as Ai generated content is currently progressing, places like DeviantArt will have no place or purpose in the
You can block AI spam with muted tags
So, I am probably not the only person who feels the flood of AI generated content on dA is really ruining the experience. Well, it's not perfect, but Muting those tags has largely filtered the spam for me. I can't help but feel dA is inviting a decline akin to sites like wordpress by allowing all of this, but I digress. Anyways, hope this helps someone else out.
A Deviantart Journal in 2022
Do people still read these? I guess I’ll find out. Hi DeviantArt folks. The slow-burning down of Twitter seems to have officially begun. If some of the reports are true, it will only accelerate as the site depreciates without core staff to maintain infrastructure. So, it seems I’ve come crawling back. I’m in my last year of Uni now (theoretically). I hope to take a year off before going on to something like law school. Hopefully, it’ll provide opportunities to pursue other Airfortress-related endeavours properly. We’ll see. Until then, I’m making a conscious effort to draw more, so hopefully, I’ll have some cool new things to post here. Until then, here's our discord. If you just want to post your own art or get into Airfortress. I know @King-Van has some immediate plans for the setting and @jailgurdnegative still has his own ongoing work in the setting. https://discord.gg/Xk2MpCY

Its that time of year, but soon we shall get a quick respite from the madness (well, sort of...). We must hangout again once exams are done.
