Anyhow, just for fun. Read on for explanations.

Oh... you're still here... Well, from left to right:

BF2142 has probably been the biggest influence on my aesthetics. Beyond that...

24 was probably one of the bigger influences regarding the story of Red Skies. My goal with CR is to copy its plot template and elaborate on it. MMCU is an obvious copy/modification of CTU.

Lucy has influenced Colette in many ways. I always loved characters like Lucy (although, she seems to be the only one that comes to mind). Evil, twisted, but still a character you can rally around and sympathize with. I always hate how shows/books/games/movies don't focus on that character or that side of the character. Hence, Colette has become the "peanut butter and chocolate" for me.

Patrick Jane has also become a huge influence over time. Strangely though, the character's he has influenced are mainly villains.

Jon Stewart, along with Cenk Uyger, has greatly influenced my political beliefs. This in translated in much of Red Skies, which revolves heavily around the good and evil of politics. The re-occurring problems in Red Skies has been taken right out of their political rants.

BFBC and MW2 created much of what became Cavalier. Many of the missions are taken out of my many adventures online in those video games when my PS3 still worked. Marlowe and Cpt. Price together created Terrance Power.

The Battle of Britain was probably where the NA War began. It spawned from the "what if I put the Battle of Britain in Canada and gave everyone laser armed jets?". Of course, no longer being 12, I understand there are many tactical reasons as to why that wouldn't work. Still, I often take ques from the air war over Southern Britain in the 1940's when I describe dogfights in the NA War. Many lines come straight from the letters and dairies of "Sailor" Malan and "Buzz" Beurling!

Riese inspired me to make Corinth plain and simple. I'd never heard of "Steampunk" until I saw the show, but I knew shortly after that I was going to have to write one :P

The War of 1812 and Canadian History is up there with the biggest influences. Canadians rally around the War of 1812, it being that time we beat the Americans. Many of the NA War's battles are taken right out of the history books. All I did was change a few locations. Our actions in WW1, WW2, Korea and Afghanistan have also translated into ideas for Red Skies. My decisions to being posting Cavalier's on DA was mainly driven by the fact that I don't believe we get the attention that we deserve for our contributions to the Allied war efforts in the world wars and Korea.

Other less important influences: Mech Warrior, various aircraft (F-4 Phantom, Mig 31 Foxhound, Spitfire, Hurricane etc...), the various people I have met on DA, Pierre Elliot Trudeau, JFK, Dick Cheney (he's the bad guy who gets captured at the end of Cavalier), 1945 and Fahrenheit 451

You were influenced by Riese? Huh. Didn't like that show personally, the dialogue was...*cough*. I wanted to like it, but I couldn't get past the dialogue :/
